Walt Disney World guests who’ve missed the ability to book return times for attractions in advance like they used to with FastPass will be happy to know that Disney has listened! No more having to book at 7 AM while on vacation!

Starting July 24th, 2024, Disney Genie+ will be replaced by Lightning Lane Multi Pass, and individual Lightning Lane entries will now be called Lightning Lane Single Pass.

What’s New?

1. Advance Bookings: Guests will be able to make up to 3 Lightning Lane selections before their trip when they purchase a Lightning Lane Multi Pass. This brings back the advance selection feature previously available with FastPass+.
2. On-the-Go Flexibility: Once at the park, after using their first pre-booked selection, guests can start booking additional Lightning Lane return times based on availability through the My Disney Experience app.
3. Unified Purchase: Guests can purchase both Lightning Lane Single Pass and Multi Pass in the same transaction, making the process more streamlined and convenient.
4. Resort Guests Perks: Disney Resort hotel guests can book Lightning Lanes up to 7 days before their resort check-in day, while all other guests can book them up to 3 days in advance.

Tiered System for Attractions:

• At Magic Kingdom, the first tier includes Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Jungle Cruise, Peter Pan’s Flight, Space Mountain, and Tiana’s Bayou Adventure.
• At EPCOT, the first tier features Frozen Ever After, Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure, and Soarin’ Around the World.
• At Hollywood Studios, tier-one rides include Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway, Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run, Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith, and Slinky Dog Dash.
• At Animal Kingdom, there are no tiers, meaning you can choose any available attraction.

Photo Perks: With a Lightning Lane Multi Pass, guests receive digital downloads of select attraction photos and videos from their day, captured with Disney PhotoPass Service, plus access to Disney PhotoPass Lenses.
