Beast’s Castle in Fantasyland

Beast’s Castle in Fantasyland, which is also the Be Our Guest dining experience, is being freshened up for the 50th Anniversary Celebration.  Visitors may have noticed a scaffold structure positioned near the upper portion of the castle and above the rocky cliffs. The faded castle exterior is being repainted and Disney artisans are hard at work restoring the beauty to Beast’s Castle.

Disneyland brings back the annual pass

Disneyland brings back the annual pass!  In January of 2021, Disneyland abruptly ended it’s annual Legacy passes leaving Disney fans disappointed with the company’s decision. Disney has a long standing tradition where guest input and opinions are heard and action is taken based on extensive consumer research and guest feedback.  It turns out Disney heard the messages and the annual pass program is back along with several value-added changes.

Walt Disney World annual pass

You might be wondering, “What about annual passes for the Walt Disney World Resort?”  Why should California get to corner the market on Disney magic?  Well, to be fair, Disneyland was the first “happiest place on earth” so it seems logical for them to launch the Magic Key program first.   Rest assured WDW will bring back the annual passes in time for the 50th Anniversary Celebration that begins on October 1, 2021.  No pricing information has been provided yet, but with all the work and “freshening up” taking place around the Walt Disney World Resort the official announcement and pricing should be soon.

Jungle Cruise Movie

Now Showing in Theaters and on Disney Plus: “Jungle Cruise Movie“.  For those of you who enjoy adventure, legends, and corny Jungle Cruise jokes, this movie is a must-see.  Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Emily Blunt star in Disney’s long-anticipated film where Dr. Lily Houghton (Emily Blunt) hires Frank (Dwayne Johnson) to guide her safely through the jungle and down the Amazon River in search of a legendary tree that could change the world of medicine forever.  In case treacherous waters and dangerous animals wasn’t enough, villains, secrets and cryptic maps add excitement and mystery to the tale of the Jungle Cruise.

(Disney Plus requires a subscription and there is an added charge to view the movie on Disney+)
