The much anticipated MagicBand+ makes it debut on July 27, 2022 at Walt Disney World® Resort
MagicBand+ allows Disney guests to enjoy a variety of interactive experiences including the Fab 50 Character Quest which features the 50 character statues located in the parks. Perhaps each band is filled with “pixie-dust” because the MagicBand+ vibrates and lights blink when guests interact with the character statues.
MagicBand+ also brings the excitement of The Nighttime Spectacular fireworks shows at EPCOT and Magic Kingdom to park-goers with lights and vibrations in sync with the shows’ music, special effects, and pyrotechnics.
Visitors to Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge will find their MagicBand+ is just what an intergalactic bounty hunter needs to earn credits and join the guild. The Play Disney Parks app interfaces with the MagicBand + and Raga Bua will give you missions to complete during your visit to Batuu. While on Batuu, The Black Spire Outpost has so many things to explore from Ogas Cantina to Savi’s Workshop. What hidden surprises will you find? But, beware of the Storm Troopers!
MagicBand+ also links to Disney PhotoPass where resort photographers capture your day and guests can access digital photos with extra Disney magic! The MagicBand+ also unlocks a guest’s room when they return to their hotel after an incredible day at the park!
